AA Sakatti Mining Oy is Anglo American´s Finnish subsidiary operating in Sodankylä and responsible for the development of the Sakatti project.
Sakatti is one of the richest multi-metal deposits in Finland and have the potential to be of the most significant new discoveries in Europe for decades. The deposit includes seven metals, such as copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, cobalt, gold, and silver - all of which are essential to our modern societies and the transition towards carbon neutrality.

CONTROLLER
is responsible for financial monitoring, reporting, and budgeting of the Sakatti project. Your tasks include developing internal accounting for both short and long term, participating in the feasibility studies and contributing to establish ERP systems for the future mine.
Applicants are required to have a good understanding of financial processes from accounting to reporting and communication.

HR COORDINATOR
works between the local and intra-group organization. Your tasks will range from recruitment to payroll administration. Salaries are calculated and paid by an accounting office, to which you will provide support.
The aim is to develop and maintain HR management practices and procedures together with personnel groups and local management. You will apply the collective agreements of Technology Industry in practice and coordinate training.

We require applicants to have appropriate higher education and varied Office 365 skills in Finnish and English, a self-directed and proactive approach with enthusiasm to tackle different challenges.
The job offers the chance to handle a diverse range task in an international group, building a modern and responsible mine of the future. The contract is fixed until the end of 2023, after that the progress of the Sakatti project will be evaluated. Your place of work will be either Sodankylä or the Oulu office and we will assist finding an apartment.
